1989
Carreman was founded in France as a joint venture between Francois Morel & Eric Baisse, This unique partnership, fused the Creative/Commercial knowledge along with the Engineering and Manufacturing process of Stretch fabrics. To date, our founders are still considered to be the Pioneers of Stretch Fabrics for Tailored and Sportswear.
1990'S
Carreman experiences exponential growth/market share in Europe and North America. Opening of its New York office to offer in region assistance with a focus on enhanced Customer Service.
2004
Carreman expands its fabric manufacturing capabilities into Romania with the purpose of offering lower costs and offering an opportunity to address the speed to market concept for our customers manfacturing garments within the region.
2008
Carreman China was established, as an entity to establish a dedicated team to better understand the requirements of Raw material Sourcing and Inspection within Asia.
2011
Carreman China opens its manufacturing unit in Zhangjiagan supported by a delegation of European executives to manage / oversee the fabric manufacturing and QC process.
2017
Carreman China opens its manufacturing unit in Wenshang Shandong Province. Focusing of Sustainability by reducing our environmental footprint.
2022
Opened showroom in the heart of Paris. Located in the historic and trendy Le Marais District.
